Badrinath ki Dulhania – Movie Review
Director: Shashank Khaitan
Cast: Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt
A great movie with good star casts and a special message from Dharma Productions.
Badrinath Bansal (Varun Dhawan), a Jhansi boy who is the slightly outspoken and really lovable is seen collecting debt on his father’s behalf. He has a wealthy and dominating father, Amarnath Bansal (Rituraj Singh).
His elder brother had to sacrifice his love and marry a girl of his father’s choice so Badri always wished that he doesn’t become a devdas like his brother. He falls head over heels on seeing Vaidehi (Alia Bhatt) at a wedding. He finds all information about her and he learns that she is a career oriented woman who broke up with her earlier relationship.
Vaidehi convinces Badri to marry his sister and Badri refuses but helps her find a groom for her sister. They find a groom but his dad demands a good amount of dowry.
What happens next forms the climax of the story? Does Badri help Vaidehi? Will Vaidehi marry Badri if Badri fixes her sister’s marriage?
Songs of this movie are quite good especially “Aashiq Surrender Hua” and “Tamma Tamma”. The movie is quite entertaining with dialogues and songs.
Performances of Varun and Alia both are good but still the show stealer is Alia Bhatt. A movie with a lovely message, go ahead and watch it.
