Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Story
The movie opens with Ruhan and Reet, portrayed by Karthik Aryan and Kiara Advani. These two meets under mysterious circumstances and wind up at Reet’s ancestral home, where the wicked spirit of Manjulika has been imprisoned. To inspire Reet, Ruhaan pretends to have the ability to see and communicate with spirits. After this, he becomes known as ‘Rooh Baba,’ but the truth is nearly revealed when Manjulika’s ghost appears.
The horror series then begins between the comedy. The audience is stunned by the revelation of Manjulika’s history, during which she also sings “Aami Je Tomar.” How can Reet and Ruhan be able to save themselves and their family from Manjulika in this situation? This is the basis of the entire plot of the movie.
Direction
The screenwriter and director of the movie have tried extremely hard to entertain the audience. The movie’s director, Anees Bazmee, has not made any superfluous efforts to deliver any message. He has captivated the audience using horror, comedy, romance, and witty conversations. Occasionally, the movie story is out of control in some parts, but recovers swiftly. He has also kept the songs brief so that the audience’s attention is not diverted.
The story and storyline have numerous humorous situations, such as those involving a large family, Ruhan’s transformation into Rooh Baba, and Chhote Pandit’s comic routines, making the audience laugh. The story has many ups and downs, and the first half is entertaining. The point of the interval is robust. After the intermission, the movie’s second half consists primarily of comedic horror, with a few frightening and unsettling situations. The movie’s conclusion can be quickly determined.
Music and Cinematography
The movie’s soundtrack is not particularly pleasant. The background music by Sandeep Shirodkar creates the ideal atmosphere, particularly in the frightening sequences. Under Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, crude jokes containing misogyny and casteism are occasionally heard in the guise of entertainment. Farhad Samji and Akash Kaushik co-wrote the movie’s dialogue.
Manu Anand’s cinematography is excellent, and the movie’s regal concept and scary tone are effectively established. The editing of Bunty Nagi is a let-down since certain moments appear overly drawn out.
Acting
Kartik Aaryan embodied his persona flawlessly. His comedy timing was excellent, and he adapted his facial expressions to the circumstances. He was adept at engaging the audience with his persona. Kiara Advani acted admirably as well. Sanjay Mishra and Rajpal Yadav’s comedy was lively. It would not be incorrect to refer to Tabu as the protagonist of this movie. Especially in the second half, most of the movie’s weight rests on her shoulders.
The supporting performers, including Ashwini Kalsekar, Milind Gunaji, Rajesh Sharma, and Master Samarth Chauhan, performed admirably. The screen presence of these actors is such that you will occasionally find yourself laughing no matter what they are doing. However, the movie’s scripting did not give him any memorable punches that you would recall long after viewing the movie.
Final Verdict
Even if the movie has nothing to do with words such as logic and sense, the moviemakers appear to be aware of this. Additionally, there is nothing wrong with meaninglessness in horror-comedy movies. When the movie achieves its climax after experiencing all of its shortcomings, that is its high point. There are several scenes in which it is unnecessary to check the time. In addition, Arijit Singh’s rendition of “Aami Je Tomar” elevates the climax to a higher level. Overall, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” is an entertaining movie that delivers its promise.
