Bheed Movie Review (2023) | Cast and Story

Bheed Movie Review – It is a Hindi-language social drama film depicting the struggles of characters during the COVID-19 lockdown in India.

Hardly anyone can forget that period during the lockdown in Corona, which completely changed everyone’s life. Corona profoundly impacted everyone’s life at that time, and people still feel that impact. The lockdown hit the class of laborers and workers the most. This Bheed Movie Story belongs to that period, perhaps the most terrible period of our lives. This movie is black and white, and that is because, at that time, the colors in our life had disappeared. Read this Bheed Movie Review to know more.

Cast: Raj Kumar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Pankaj Kapur, Ashutosh Rana, Aditya Srivastava, Dia Mirza, Kritika Kamra, Virendra Saxena

Director: Anubhav Sinha

Story

The story of the movie shows the pain of the lockdown. People had left their villages hoping to find work in the city and got jobs. But now that Corona has taken away their work, they have no place in the city. The laborers who went to work in the town became outsiders in their own country. The borders of the state were sealed. A crowd of workers gathered on the roads to go to their homes. They felt it is better to die on their soil than in the city.

The movie threads all the stories of such laborers. It exposes their sorrows suffered during the time of Corona. There are many small stories in ‘Bheed.’ There is a story of some watchmen. A mother who is worried about her daughter: a daughter is carrying her old father—a policeman and a doctor who is the link between all of them. With the help of these stories, the movie raises many issues.

Caste arrogance, religious hatred, an inefficient system, and orphaned citizens will all be seen in the movie. Corona and lockdown are just excuses; the real purpose of the movie is to show the thought process of the system.

Bheed Movie Review: Writing and Direction

The best thing about the movie is its writing. It’s a very tight script. Nowhere does it seem that this scene could have been trimmed? Anubhav Sinha writes Bheed along with Saumya Tiwari and Sonali Jain. The story of the movie is of only one day. In such a situation, it is tough to mold it into the script of a feature movie. A few scenes in this feel tedious and drawn out.

The most significant advantage of the movie is its theme. Once again, producer-director Anubhav Sinha has chosen an adventure theme for his movie. There is another unique thing about this picture. Its direction. A good director knows how to restrain himself. Anubhav Sinha has proved to be such a director in ‘Bheed.’ He has taken this movie towards extremism. The best thing is that the characters are not one-sided. The characters have been crafted very well.

The third special thing is the realism of the movie. References taken from the actual events that happened during Corona are seen in the movie. Some significant incidents happened during Corona. Remember that 13-year-old Jyoti brought her father from Delhi to Darbhanga on a bicycle? You will find its reference in the picture as a separate story. The news of the spread of Corona from Tabligi Jamaat has also been made a part of the movie. There are many other references, but watch the movie for that.

Bheed Movie Cast and Acting

The crowd includes a group of fine artists. Raj Kumar Rao is in the lead role. He has done an excellent job. Being a part of the system, Rajkumar has imbibed the feeling of not being a part of the system beautifully. Very restrained acting, as much as is required in front of the camera.

Amiclear Review - Lower Blood Sugar Levels

Rajkumar Rao’s work has been practical. He has imbibed his role with finesse. Bhumi Pednekar becomes a practicing medical student in the movie. She has said a lot, even without speaking. Bhumi has played her part well, but the focus is more on the love angle of her character. This thing stings. Dia’s work is average. Kritika Kamra’s character has yet to become effective in that way.

Pankaj Kapur wins in all of these. He has a habit of getting immersed in his characters. This time also he fills different colors in his character with his acting. He is such an experienced actor that his performance cannot be doubted. Other actors like Ashutosh Rana and Aditya Srivastava have also done justice to their roles.

Music and Cinematography

The songs and music do justice to the story and situations of the movie. The cinematography of the movie is excellent. The dialogue in the movie has made the story more compelling. In the movie, the conference is not said in any long speech, but the critical thing is told in a mutual conversation. There are no arrangements for the poor man. Our justice is beyond our capacity, as the dialogues bring every aspect of the story to the fore.

Bheed Movie Review: Final Verdict

Anubhav Sinha made this movie from the perspective of a commoner. This is not a movie but a mirror. In which we can see our image as a society. Everyone should watch so that we can remember and keep questioning ourselves about those people who create comfort in our life. What considerable neglect had happened to them? Users and celebs are constantly commenting on the movie.

Director Anubhav Sinha’s movie Mohabi has revived the pain of the Corona period once again. Seeing it on the big screen will make anyone’s eyes wet. Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Ashutosh Rana, and Pankaj Kapoor have won people’s hearts with their top-notch performances in the movie. By watching the movie, everyone’s old Corona memories will be refreshed.
