Janhit Mein Jaari Movie: Story

The story is set in a small Madhya Pradesh town. Manokamna, also known as Manu, is a straightforward girl and she expresses herself openly. She desires to work and make money on her own to become financially independent. But her family members desire that their daughter should get married before it is too late. In small towns, adolescents were given the ultimatum of finding a job immediately after studies or getting married. In haste, Manu seizes an employment chance in a random company.

Later, it is revealed that the company manufactures condoms, and Manu is forced to work there as a sales executive. This concept initially amazes her, but to avoid family pressure to marry, she accepts the job of selling condoms. After that, she falls in love with a guy and gets married, but her in-laws are unaware of this fact. The rest of the story is based on what will happen if the village comes to know that Manu is selling condoms. The way Manu’s family reacts to her job is worth a watch.

All the characters in the movie are urban residents of the lower middle class. The older generation becomes enmeshed in matters such as honor and dignity, the respect of the home, and women’s opposition to the workplace. Simultaneously, young Manu, her friends, and her husband, unmoved by these events, drink beer together and have no problem with condom sales. Although, it is uncommon to discover such personalities in cities, the younger generation’s mindset has been portrayed through them.

Janhit Mein Jaari Movie: Direction

Social messaging has become a norm in movies these days. The message is embedded in the form of a comedy, so that the audience does not feel informed. The lead role actress is well known and there are exceptional actors in the supporting cast. Most of the rapid punches in the early half of the film appear to be successful. There are so many events in the first half of the movie to captivate the audience, somehow it is linked to second half to conclude the movie. The length of the message scenes is merely two to three minutes. The majority of the movie consists of comedies and social dramas.

The writer, Raaj Shaandilyaa, has produced a comedy based on the thinking of many characters in the script who represent the lower middle class. The beginning of the movie contains numerous humorous sequences. As an example, when Manu goes out to sell condoms, hilarious sequences are given based on what people say. The movie falters in the middle but regains momentum as the family drama unfolds quickly.

Keeping the movie from sloppiness, the message was delivered in a manner that made everything appear casual. However, the writer Raaj Shaandilyaa and the director Jai Basantu Singh have to be commended for making an unoriginal and hazy topic amusing. Raaj Shaandilyaa’s well-written dialogue, characters, and scenes keep the audience smiling most of the time. The movie is a bit long; it could have been shortened.

Music and Cinematography

The cinematography in the movie is excellent. Filming for Janhit Mein Jaari took place in the actual cities of Chanderi and Gwalior. The cameraman has captured the beauty of this small town’s market, streets, and riverbanks, which surround the town’s charm. The movie’s songs are not particularly showy, but the background music creates the ideal environment for comedy.

Janhit Mein Jaari Movie Cast

Nusrat Bharucha has been cast in a part that is the fantasy of many actresses. She has carried the entire movie’s weight with complete accountability. The audience immediately accepts her character due to her acting’s confidence, which is worth observing. When observing Nusrat as Manu in the cool-girl mode, it does not appear that she is pretending. The movie’s writing did not provide her with memorable scenes that you would recall long after viewing the movie.

There are some recognized figures in the other star castings, and their performances are good. Vijay Raj, Brajendra Kala, and Paritosh Tripathi have contributed their hundred percent. Tinu Anand has also returned after a long absence. These actors are responsible for the movie’s humor, whether it is a situational comedy or a collection of one-liners. The movie has recruited a large number of fresh performers to its cast. One of them is Anud Singh Dhaka, whose debut performance was commendable. The screen presence of these actors is such that no matter what they are doing, you will occasionally find yourself laughing.

Final Verdict

More than 1.5 million abortions are performed properly and improperly, resulting in the death or illness of countless people. Talking about protection during sex is not a crime, and the movie continues to include humorous references to this topic. In the second part of the movie, comedy predominates, and several sequences are terrifying and disturbing. Though the movie is concluded very quickly.

The movie’s protagonist is a condom saleswoman because the plot is of a distinctive type, and the writer wanted to give it a unique appearance. In a society, where males fear selling condoms, no one can imagine women performing this task. The message has been delivered humorously to entertain the audience. The movie “Janhit Mein Jaari” delivers a social message and is fun to watch.
