Samrat Prithviraj Movie Story
Samrat Prithviraj Movie Review: If you have a good overview of Prithviraj Chauhan, this movie offers the same amount of information. A conflict between Prithviraj and Muhammad Ghori, Jaichand’s betrayal, and Prithviraj’s killing of Muhammad Ghori despite being blind has been portrayed in the movie.
Many viewers with extensive knowledge of Prithviraj may find the movie inadequate. Seeing Prithviraj’s valour fills one with a sense of pride, and the sight of betrayal done to him brings tears to one’s eyes. The movie portrays the bridge between the two extremes.

Samrat Prithviraj Movie: Direction
Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi spent years working on a movie on Prithviraj. He joined Yash Raj Films, one of the largest production companies in India, and the movie’s scope grew substantially. Dr Dwivedi’s research and its subjects are visible in the movie. Much attention is given to the outfits in the movie. You will not be able to locate any flaws in the Rajasthani clothing or turban.
Dr Dwivedi’s movie Samrat Prithviraj does not intend to focus solely on Prithviraj life on the battlefield. He desires to depict Prithviraj Chauhan’s private life in his realm. Prithviraj required a script that would honour his courage and bravery. However, the movie’s storyline is rather weak and there is a great deal of instability in the movie’s writing. Except for the opening and closing sequences, no other scene in the movie is really compelling.
Music and Cinematography
On the other side, the movie’s cinematography is excellent. The impact of Yash Raj Films support is evident. A production design has been completed, large sets, replete with extras, were created and wide pictures were taken to make the scenes appear majestic. The movie includes average dialogues, except for the Hari Hari song, no other song is remembered while considering music.
This is Akshay Kumar’s maiden movie with a historical setting, though it appears similar to his other movies. This is the major flaw of the movie. Sonu Sood is the lone actor in this movie who has done justice to acting. He has perfectly captured the speech, body language, and expressions. The bad screenplay in this movie prevented Mohammad Ghori ‘s character from being portrayed in a way that was necessary for the movie. Sanjay Dutt was entirely underutilized in the movie, while the other roles, notably Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar, were average.
Before the release of the movie, it was asserted that Akshay was not the ideal option for the role of Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay Kumar looks more like himself rather than Prithviraj Chauhan. He may not have put much effort into the movie, but he is no longer complaning. The story’s antagonist, Manav Vij, has played the role of Mohammad Ghori and the audience needs to see something in his eyes; when gazing at him, one must experience emotion which doesn’t happen. The characters lack drama and emotion, which are essential components of such movies.
In conclusion, even though the movie has a strong script, its finale, which occurs after all of its problems, is the movie’s high point. The movie is around 2 hours and 15 minutes long. There are several scenes in which it is unnecessary to check the time. Samrat Prithviraj is a movie that is worth your time and money both, so go ahead and watch the movie.
